This little greenhouse fits perfectly in the only unused corner of my small garden. Delivery was straightforward - by one man in a truck who had to unload the crate himself. The most difficult part of the whole process was getting into the crate - we still haven't managed to completely dismantle it.
I liked the white colour in the photo, so bought a tin of Cuprinol Daisy White to paint the greenhouse before assembly - a 250ml tin was the perfect amount. It took absolutely ages to do 2 coats on everything - I was at it for about 3 days on-and-off. I decided to attempt construction myself (as a 60-year-old female) with the assistance of my (male) partner to hold things as I fixed them. Somewhat more challenging than an Ikea flat-pack, I managed it all without calling for professional help. The instructions are fairly good, except for the shelf fitting, which took me a while to work out (I thought they rested on top of the framework, but no - I worked backwards from where the hinged shelves go, and all became clear). Very tricky to fix the lower shelves, you have to be very small or a bit of a contortionist! It would have been useful to know what size drill bit to use for pre-drilling - 2mm for the shorter screws and 3mm for the longer ones worked fine. I recommend having spare drill bits on hand, I broke 2 during the construction. And a cordless screwdriver was invaluable for that many screws! You need access to the back during the first part of construction, so you can't build it in-situ against a wall. The easiest way to move it into position is by carrying it from inside (2 people) - which must look rather funny. We didn't bother levelling the (paved) site, but levelled the finished structure with wedges of wood underneath. Some pieces were a bit warped, so we had to do a few minor adjustments along the way, but I'm *extremely* pleased with the result. It all feels quite solid.I would say it took the best part of a day to construct (we split it over 2 days). My main gripe is that the number of 25mm screws supplied was nowhere near enough - I needed 32 more - I used Gripti Twin Thread Screws, Bright Zinc Plated, 3x25mm (No.4 x 1") which looked identical.

This has changed my life! Have had great success starting off plants and growing vegetables. A nice size as can be managed easily but plenty of shelves to use. I painted it to match my summerhouse and had it assembled by friendly joiner as recommended by other reviewers. Greatly admired by visitors!
