With the recent announcement of a third UK Lockdown for January 2021 onwards we wish to inform our customers that we do not expect any change in service, as the manufacturing industries are able to continue to work throughout this lockdown we do not foresee any issue with supply. Our delivery partners are also working as normal so any delivery you may have booked in with us should be going ahead as planned.
As with any responsible business and individual our first priority is safety. Safety to us means the health, safety and well-being of staff, customers and the population at large. We will adhere strictly to Government Guidelines and will take any action that we perceive to be responsible or within a duty of care to protect all parties.
Most products on Garden Chic are sourced direct from suppliers stock and suppliers arrange the delivery to you, our customers. As you may expect we are expecting some delays on certain deliveries. In the main suppliers are endeavouring to hit reasonable delivery periods however the current circumstances are affecting staff availability and delivery vehicles etc. which is having a knock on effect on deliveries across the board.
Unfortunately we are not able to give delivery schedule guidelines before an order is placed beyond the message on each product page and as per below. At the moment we are unable to offer any sort of express or expedited deliveries and the lead times shown on the product pages are what have been advised by the manufacturers and cannot be brought forward.
Due to the fact that many people all over the UK are spending more time at home than ever we have seen an increase in order volumes as people are striving to carry out home improvements and make the most of the space they have at home. As a result of this spike in order volumes and increased demand, we are seeing some delays in deliveries of certain items however please be assured that ALL ORDERS WILL BE DELIVERED.
The current National Emergency is affecting all of us in some way and we kindly ask that during this time whilst we all come to terms with the ‘new normal’ that you be kind and patient as all of our staff are working tirelessly round the clock to ensure that all orders are fulfilled and all customers kept up to date with changes to delivery guidelines. We realise that this new way of working can cause frustration but please keep in mind that all of our staff have the right to work without fear of threat and everyone is doing their best for our much appreciated customers. If you do experience a delay in the delivery of your goods please accept our apologies.
Most delivery companies are now running a non-contact delivery service where they will ask you to kindly remain in the house whilst your delivery is carried out, this is to protect both you and the delivery staff and to comply with the social distancing advice put forward by the government
