Delivery information
Is delivery free of charge?
We offer free delivery on the majority of our products over £50 but in some cases, there may be a charge applied. Potential charges are:
- Some suppliers will charge a fixed postage rate which has to be applied.*
- Some postcodes may incur a small charge, the easiest way to calculate if your postcode will incur a charge is to enter your postcode at checkout and click ‘calculate shipping’.
- All orders under £50 will include a fixed £5 delivery charge, this may increase depending on your postcode location.
*Certain Product Ranges have a Flat Rate Delivery Charge for example: Burbage Iron Craft, this is not regional or volume related.
How long does delivery take?
As we sell over 10,000+ products delivery times can vary per product. The best way to see an estimated delivery time for the item you are interested in is to go the product and just above the add to basket you will see a message stating the estimated delivery time.
Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the next working day.
We operate a number of warehouses and also deliver direct from suppliers stock. If your order if for more than one brand or product then delivery may occur on different dates.
All delivery estimates stated are in working days, delivery schedules are not guaranteed and are intended as a guide only. Delivery will be made to you as soon as possible after your order has been accepted.
Refusal of delivery & restocking fees
If you refuse or are not able to take delivery of your item (without previously making us aware) you will be liable for any subsequent delivery costs as this is returned to us or one of our suppliers. Some products are subject to a restocking fee if cancelled / refused post dispatch. If you are unsure about if there is a restocking fee or not, please do not hesitate to contact us directly before opting to refuse or cancel your order.
Do you offer express delivery?
We currently do not offer express delivery, but it is something we may be able to offer on a select range of products. If you require express delivery please contact our customers services team on 01636 858 290 or at info@gudrum.com
Pallet deliveries & deliveries that are booked in by you (The buyer)
Due to the size and weight of certain products, we are required to send these via a specialised pallet network or by a 2 man delivery service.
These deliveries are booked in by yourself for your convenience to ensure that you are available to take delivery of the goods. If your delivery is delivered by a specialised network or 2 man service you will contacted prior.
If you fail to be in or refuse your already scheduled delivery, you will be eligible for any redelivery costs or transportation of goods back to our warehouse.
The driver will wait for you to check over the contents and if you are satisfied please sign for the delivery, if you are not please refuse it and we can help resolve this for you. All our orders leave the warehouse in pristine condition, which we equally want to present to our customers even when using different third party couriers.
Do you deliver outside of UK Mainland?
We can offer delivery outside of UK mainland but not for every product we sell. Some of our suppliers will not deliver to certain postcodes, and you may face an additional charge your postcode. Please use the ‘calculate shipping’ feature at the checkout to see if we can delivery to your postcode.
*Owing to carrier charges with certain suppliers there may be parts of the UK where an additional delivery charge may be added to the order, we will let you know if this is the case.
Certain manufacturers including (but not limited to) Shire, Storemore Mercia and others there will always be a delivery charge into Scotland.
Unfortunately at present we do not offer delivery to any Islands including Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man or to Northern Ireland. However in certain circumstances we could look to provide you with packaging sizes and weights should you wish to arrange your own onward shipping from a Great Britain mainland address, unfortunately collection from the manufacturer is not always possible for insurance reasons -Please be aware that the goods are considered as delivered once they reach your choice of shipping company, we are unable to send spares or replacements outside of UK Mainland so please endeavour to have the goods checked before the are sent for onward shipping. Please note: If goods are ordered using our Finance Options then we are obliged by the terms of our finance provider to ONLY DELIVER TO THE ORDERING ADDRESS. We are not able to deliver to alternative addresses or to offer collection.
Any deliveries that are made outside of UK Mainland will always incur a charge - Please contact us for more information PRIOR to placing any order for delivery outside of UK Mainland or for orders that will be for onward shipping.
Delivery for Pay by Finance Orders
If you select to pay via the personal finance option the goods MUST be delivered to the billing address which will be the address that is verified on the finance application form.
I’ve placed an order but have not had any confirmation?
When you place an order with us you should always receive an order acknowledgment email. Please check your junk/spam folder, if you still haven’t received an order acknowledgment email please contact as soon as possible and we can send one to you.
How are large items delivered and do I have to be in?
Please assume that delivery of larger Items examples including Sheds, Summerhouses, Log Cabins, Greenhouses, Garden Structures, Garden Furniture, Large BBQ's etc. is to Kerb Side. Customers are advised not to assist with off-loading. Many Delivery Drivers (but not all) will help to move items beyond the kerb but at Kerb Side goods become your responsibility. Where goods are delivered on a pallet the delivery companies do not usually remove the packaging or pallets after delivery.
If the product you have purchased has an assembly option and you choose to take this assembly service then the delivery and assembly will not usually take place on the same date. The independent assembly company will endeavour to complete the assembly within 7 working days of delivery. It is very important that all parts are checked and verified before the independent assembly company arrives to carry out the work as failure to do so could result in unnecessary delays once the company arrives
For customers peace of mind please be assured that all trading on this web site is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and updated 2017 which supersedes the Distance Selling Regulations
How do I arrange my delivery? (product specific)
We offer a Pick your delivery day service on specific brands of garden products, these brands include Forest Garden, Shire, & Mercia. When you find a product you like you can enter your postcode into the postcode section to then view the next available delivery slots.
